Comedian Drew Michael

With an album that hit No. 1 on the iTunes comedy charts, his own Comedy Central half-hour special and a sweet gig as a writer on “Saturday Night Live,” Drew Michaels is filling a comedy bucket list at a record pace. According to Time Out Chicago, his show is “smart, funny and unabashedly crass,” with takes on everything from ex-girlfriends and religion to bestiality and Hitler. Show starts at 8 p.m. at the American Comedy Company, 818 B Sixth Ave. No cover.

Live theater – ‘The Absolute Brightness of Leonard Pelkey’: This Trevor Project fundraiser will be a one-man show at The Old Globe. James Lecesne, co-founder of The Trevor Project, is the playwright and solo performer of the play.
